Refining Fire

I have not blogged in a while. Things have been so busy! I love life though and am thankful we have so much going on! Some may know that a little over a year ago Tripp and I accepted a call to plant a church in South Florida. This may seem crazy to some maybe even to me sometimes, but it has been such an amazing experience. It has changed us forever already and we have not planted yet. I knew before we left that God would really put the pressure on to prepare us and make us ready to serve him. I am so proud to be going throught this amazing fire with my husband. WE are learning so much about eachother and more importantly about our God. HE IS AMAZING! He knocks me on my butt daily it seems like. There are times though that we go though growth that hurts. This growth is just as important if not more important than the rest. A verse I am clinging to lately is Prov. 3:5-8 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him ahd He will direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes ; fear the Lord and turn from evil. It will bring healing to your body and refreshment to your bones." I am just living by this verse right now. I just really don't understnad everything the Lord is doing, but I am definantely along for the ride! I can't wait to see what he has in store.
