High Chair Assembly

We went out and bought Sophie a high chair two days ago. She has been eating solid food now for around a month. We bought this really cute chair with animals and toys. We were soooo excited!! Most high chairs do not require assembly because they fold small enough to just be packaged folded. Not this one!! It was in like a hundred pieces!!! Tripp was going to put it together but he has been so busy with work at the school and with Mosaic that I dedcided to put it together myself. I must say the direction were simple and easy, but it ook me forever!! I have never experienced screws more difficult to screw!! I'm proud to say after amost an hour I did manage to assemble the chair! Yay! Sophie is really enjoying it and of course the food she gets to eat while in it!!

Trip To Ohio

Sophie and I recently traveled to see my grandparents her great granparents in Ohio. This was Sophies first time on a plane and the first time she met Nannie and Papa. Traveling by air with a baby was an intersting feat. Some people were wonderful and just admired how beautiful Sophie is while others were very intolerant and rude. Overall the experience was a success and I would do it again (but I would really like Tripp to be with me). Above is a picture of Sophie's first time on an airplane. She was wonderful! She slept and played the whole time. Not one little cry!!

My Papa and Cousin picked us up from the airport where we still had an hours drive to Marion, OH. The drive went quickly and we were delighted to see my Nannie and other cousin Kristen. While in Ohio Austin (my cousin) graduated from high school. I am so proud of him! He is a brilliant young musician who I hope to see really make it someday. Austin had a great party while we were there. Over a hundred of his freinds, family and teachers attended to celebrate his success! He will be attending Ohio State in the fall. This is a picture of him with Sophie.

My cousin Kristen surprised us all when she eloped right before we left on this trip. She has been married a little over a month now and we are very happy for her. She did great with Sophie and Sophie took to her very quickly. I think it may have something to do with the fact that Kristen had a little resemblance to me. Here she is with Sophie:

Overall the trip was great! I can't wait to go again and take Tripp with me so he can see where I vacationed all of my childhood. He really missed us and was very glad when we got back.
